What do I mean by patent areas?

One of the key questions you should ask of your patent agent or attorney is simply: "Are you familiar enough with my technology to write me a good patent?" This is important because the patent description needs to clearly and concisely describe the invention in order to support the claims. All patent practitioners are technical folks but few are experts in all areas.

Here are some areas I have worked in and am comfortable with:
